About Me
Maggie Marziale
Award Winning Quilter
and Experienced Instructor
Maggie has sewn most of her life, learning at a young age in 4H. The quilting bug got her when she lived in Paducah KY from 1996 – 98 and she found her way to a “Quilt Show.” She is originally from Upstate NY and was an Art Education major in college.
She began quilting on 1999, and her hobby quickly became her passion. She has won many ribbons for her work on both the local and national levels. Some of those include second place ribbons from Quilt Festival – Houston, Best Machine Workmanship and Best Innovative Quilt from the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Show, and Best Use of Color from the NQA show.
Her quilts have been shown in several quilt magazines, one of them being on the cover of Quilting Quarterly. Maggie is a teacher at heart and has been teaching quilting classes since 2012. Her love for quilting and teaching has lead her to Waynesville, Ohio and her own business dedicated to teaching quiltmaking on all levels and in many forms.
My Story
For several years I quilted on my own. After becoming an experienced quilter, I decided to begin working in a quilt shop and also taught classes. After gaining teaching experience at the shop, I decided to open my own studio so I could devote my time to teaching.
My Mission
With my background in art education, I decided to spread my passion for quilting. I want to help my students grow and develop their skills to succeed in producing their own quilts.
